BIBLICAL REFERENCE TO DIVINE SETTLEMENT (John 5:1-18)

Read this briefly..
The verse 4 of the above bible passage talks about two major things....
* An angel descending to bring settlements..
* desperation and swiftness of whoever desires the settlement(john 5:4b)

The verse 6 :
Jesus noticed a man who has been suffering from 38yrs of infirmity...
The part:b Jesus asked if he would like to be healed (WILLINGNESS)

The verse 8: he got healed.

The verse 15: he shared his testimony.

However here are some  important Lessons from this Divine Occurrence/Settlement

* every day is the Lord's day but that day we believe and take responsibility to act in obedience becomes our Own Special Day!

*no matter how long we have stayed in our problems Jesus is always ready to liberate us if we are willing to be liberated!

*The verse 14: most expedient part but we often miss out,
JESUS SAID TO HIM

ESV:Afterward Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, “See, you are well! Sin no more, that nothing worse may happen to you.”

ARE YOU TRUELY READY FOR A DIVINE SETTLEMENT?
Then say this prayers

In addition, you need to give your life to Jesus Christ in order to receive Grace. If you are ready to give your life to Christ, please say this prayer: “Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins and cleanse me with Your Blood. Deliver me from sin and satan to serve the living God. I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Make me a child of God today. Thank You for accepting me into Your Kingdom.”

            If you prayed this simple prayer, you are now a child of God. He loves you and will never leave you. Read your Bible daily, obey God’s Word and seek Christian fellowship (John 14:21).

Congratulations! You are now born again! All-round rest and peace are guaranteed you, in Jesus Name.. Amen!!

Understanding the Wonders of Kingdom Stewardship!

The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools. …And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever (Proverbs 3:35; Daniel 12:3).

According to scriptures, wisdom is knowing the right thing to do from God’s Word and doing it. It is knowing the right way to go and going there. Also, it is knowing the right step to take, and taking it. As it is written: Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock (Matthew 7:24-27).

In other words, Word practice is what makes wise, not intellectual prowess; and one of God’s ordained wisdom platforms for our rising is Kingdom stewardship. This is because Kingdom stewardship is what puts us in command of all things that make for life and godliness. As it is written: But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you(Matthew 6:33; see also Exodus 23:25-26; 2 Peter 1:3).

That is what makes Kingdom stewardship the most profitability venture in the world. It is, therefore, wisdom to subscribe fully to its demands in order to reap the benefits therein.

BIBLICAL TEACHING ON THE MARRIAGE RELATIONSHIP

Dear Reader,

I welcome you once again to this column. God is out to do glorious things for us this month of our year of glory as He rebrands us. You shall not miss your portion in Jesus’ name!  This month, we will be looking at Biblical Teachings on the Marriage Relationship.

I will like you to know that a good and wonderful family life is possible in Christ Jesus. It is divinely organized by God Almighty and instructions have been written down on how to have a fulfilling family life in His manual for successful living – the Bible. Today, as you go through this article and follow God’s instructions, He will do a strange and quick work in your life and family in Jesus Christ’s name.

This week, I will be sharing on the Headship of the Marriage Institution. The Bible teaches that the man in a marriage is the head of the woman he is married to (1 Corinthians11:3). The wife is to obey her husband (1 Peter 3:1-6, Ephesians 5:22-24). The husband must be caring, sharing, and self-sacrificing (1 Peter 3:7 Ephesians 5:25, 28-33).

GOD'S REAL INTENT AND THE BIBLICAL PURPOSE OF THE INSTITUTION MARRIAGE

• Genesis  2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.  
• 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.  
• 2:20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.  
• 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;  
• 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.  
• 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.  
• 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.  
• 2:25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

The above text describing the original marriage is the basis for almost everything else the Bible says about marriage. It explains God’s reason for designing marriage and also gives us many principles which, if applied, will enable us to build solid, satisfying marriages which honor God. The text teaches us that:

1. God designed marriage to meet the human need for companionship.
2. God designed marriage to provide an illustration of our relationship with Him.

• CONCLUSION

If you’re single, but desire to be married, God’s Word to you is, Be growing in godliness and purity and look for a mate who is committed to do the same. Your lifelong relationship must be centered on God, so that it will reflect to the world a picture of Christ and the church. If you’re married, God’s Word to you is, Are you growing deeper in companionship with your mate? Is your marriage relationship growing in the way it reflects Christ and the church to this selfish, pleasure-seeking, lost world? If you can’t honestly answer yes, then it ought to be a warning light on the dashboard to tell you that you are not in line with God’s design for marriage. Take immediate action to get it fixed!

Glorious means deserving great admiration, praise and honour. If this is not the state of your home, get set; because, this month, God is out to turn your home into a place of praise and honour. Biblical Teachings on the Marriage Relationship

Dear Reader,

Jesus says: The two will become one flesh.  The man and woman who enter into the marriage bond become one flesh and are no longer two, but one entity.  This week, I will be sharing on Two Becoming One Flesh.

God intended that the married couple Shall become one flesh (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-5). The physical union of man and wife is good in God’s sight (Hebrews 13:4). It must not be thought unwholesome. Fornication –sexual intercourse outside wedlock– is sinful, and God will judge fornicators and adulterers.

VICTORY OVER DEATH

Victory Over Death!

“In December 2015, I received a call from my elder brother, who is an Alhaji and resides in Cameroun. When I answered his call, he called my Muslim name ‘Ibrahim’, and I said, ‘No it is Emmanuel Bello.’ He got angry because I am now a Christian and said he would see who amongst us will live to see 2016.

VICTORY OVER DEATH

I did not take his words for granted because he is a powerful and wicked herbalist. Also, he had many pictures of me and I knew what he could do with them. Therefore, I focused intensively in prayers and asked God to fight my battle.

On January 2, 2016, I called him to let him know that I am still alive and that his plans have failed over me. However, he couldn’t speak well and he ended the call. The next day, I called his friend, to tell him I have been calling my elder brother, but he refused to answer my calls. To my amazement, I was told that he died on January 2nd, which was the day I spoke with him.

I give all the glory to God for fighting my battle and keeping me alive despite the evil plans against me!” —Emmanuel Bello.
